Nexus Tournament is a youth tournament hosted by North Surrey FC and Nexus Soccer League. This tournament celebrates the style of football known simply as “Street Soccer”. We promote that players be creative, utilize/ learn effective soccer skills, and ultimately grow in confidence on the ball.
All Games are modified to small sided. The idea is for each player on the field to touch the ball as much as possible; substitutions are on the fly. Small sided games lead to more chances created, more shots on goal, more saves for goalkeeper, more goals scored, and ultimately, a more enjoyable soccer game.
The most prestigious prize of the tournament is ‘King/ Queen Of The Streets’. This prize goes to the most influential player of the tournament, the player whose Street Soccer skills stood out most; a player with character, flair, swagger, and fearless. From goalies to strikers, anyone can own the streets!!
